Payment
As
a
courtesy
we
accept:
Visa,
MasterCard
or
Discover
(we do NOT accept American
Express sorry!), We do accept Checks, Cashiers
check or Money orders for final payment which will save you the 4%
administrative fee.(There
will
be a $25.00 charge for all returned checks.) However these
forms of payment must be received 14
day’s
prior to arrival in order to process completely. Bookings made less than two weeks prior to
arrival must be paid by credit card.
Security/Damage
Deposits
We do require a credit card
for the $250 fully refundable security
deposit that is due at the time of booking. This deposit
secures your
reservation and serves as a
damage deposit that is fully refundable (within 7 - 14 business days)
after your check out from the
home provided that there is not excessive damage or cleaning to the
home or hot tub needed. Security
deposits on monthly rentals of vacation homes will be $550.00.

Rules
PLEASE TAKE A SHOWER BEFORE ENTERING HOT
TUB.
SAND, DIRT, GRASS, LOTIONS, SALT WATER, PERFUMES,ETC. WILL CONTAMINATE
THE WATER.
ABSOLUTELY NO
SOAPS (WILL CREATE BACTERIA)
EATING, DRINKING, SMOKING,
DO NOT ADD ANY BODILY FLUIDS
OR SOLIDS TO THE HOT TUB WATER.
WHEN NOT USING THE HOT TUB, PLEASE PUT THE COVER BACK ON.
DO NOT EXCEED SEATING, 1 PERSON PER SEAT
Booking Fee
There is a $10.00 booking
fee associated with every booking. This
is
a
non-refundable
fee, even
if you have to cancel your reservation.
Minimum Stay
There is a two
night minimum stay on every booking by law.
Cleaning Fee
A non-refundable
cleaning fee
is charged irrespective of the length of
the stay, and varies with each property. This covers laundering sheets
and towels, remaking the beds and cleaning associated with
“normal use”.
Lodging Tax
There is 1% state lodging tax charged on every booking.
A
Transient City Tax of 4% is imposed on all properties within the city
limits.
Lane County vacation rentals are subject to a 5% county tax, or an 8%
county tax depending on the location of the home.
Check-In
Time
Check in time is anytime after 4:00
P.M. Please remove your shoes upon entry to the home. Upon arrival inspect the home and report
any issues immediately 541-997-6235 even after hours (you will reach an
answering service please leave a message with them). Please report
missing keys. There will be a $25.00 fee charged for lost keys. You can
arrange an early check in / late check out if done in advance along
with a payment of 50.00 each(if the home is available).
Check-Out
Time
Check out is to be accomplished by
11:00 A.M. the day of departure. (Unless you have made prior
arrangements for late check out with a 50.00 payment.) Upon
your
departure
you
will
be
expected
to
take
out
the
garbage, start the dishwasher, and start a load of towels in
the washer. The home should be left in a reasonably clean condition.
Age
Restriction
You must be at least 25 years
of age to rent from Elson Shields
Vacation Rentals. You may be asked to supply by fax a copy of your
drivers license.
Pets
Pets may or may not be allowed subject to approval by the property
owner. If pets are allowed a non-refundable
pet fee of $50 will be charged so that an ozone treatment may be done
to remove allergens. It is
up to the owner of the pet to clean
up the pet debris in the yard and home. Any extra cleaning due to pets
ie: in the yard, pet hair on furniture, or carpet cleaning needed
(as a result of
smells or stains) will
result in the charge of a minimum of $50.00 depending on the time
spent. The
only
exception
is
that
multiple dogs
or
dogs such as Rottweiler’s and Pit Bulls are not allowed.
If you
bring a
pet and do not report it you will be charged a minimum $50 pet fee.
Smoking
A No-Smoking policy is strictly enforced in all of our rentals, if
evidence of smoking is reported by housekeeping your credit card on
file or security deposit will reflect any charges for elimination of
odors from carpets, air etc.a minimum of a $50.00 charge.
Cancellations
We require cancellation to be made at least 2 weeks prior to arrival
date. Cancellations made after this date will cause you to forfeit your
full security deposit. All other cancellations will be charged a $25.00
cancellation fee.

excludesThanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day,
Spring Break 2012, and Rhody Days 2012.
We reserve the
right to refuse service to anyone.
Our rentals are not
party homes, please treat them as you would your own and be
respectful of the neighbors.
We truly hope you
