Mapleton, Oregon is known for its beautiful scenery, and one of the fondest times to be found there is during the fall when the Maple trees paint a lovely picture all around you. Artists come and find your art studio away from home. Come here, relax and create your next masterpiece!
Kayakers will have a great time on the slough which is a part of the waterway trails.
Birdwatchers will also enjoy the surroundings, the trees, bushes, and flowers attract a wide variety of birds.
Fisherman will love having their own boat slip to take off from in the morning for a great day of fishing on the Siuslaw!!

Some of the best Hiking trails (Sweet Creek Falls, Kentucky Falls) are just a few miles away.
